"This lively and exciting place is part of who I am today."

Jenny in the teeth

After working at the museum for nearly 16 years, this lively and exciting place is part of who I am today. I’ve had the wonderful experience of growing up alongside a fantastic bunch of people and I have seen the museum grow and change over this time. From exciting new galleries such as All About Me and Spark Gallery to our ever changing public and schools programmes; no day at the museum ever seems to be the same.
Over the years there have been many memorable occasions, these include: turning up to work dressed as a fairy...a week too early - doh!; being lucky enough to meet ESA astronaut Tim Peake; and saying hello to a host of different animals from goats to tarantulas over the years. However, to me the highlight of the year is always Christmas; I love the festive atmosphere of the museum and it’s always a pleasure to see the excitement in the families that visit and take part in our Christmas activities.
It’s such a fantastic achievement that Eureka! has reached such a milestone and I feel privileged to be part of the amazing museum-wide team who work hard to keep Eureka! the awesome place that it is, here’s to another 25 fabulous years and more!
